2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide

We collect information you provide directly, including:

(a) Account and profile data: name, email, phone number, profile photo, and preferences;

(b) Checkout and contact data: billing address, attendee information, custom checkout forms, waiver signatures, and promo codes;

(c) Authentication data: OTP verification records and login history;

(d) Organizer data: business name, event details, payout and tax information, team member roles, and customer lists you upload; and

(e) Communications: support requests, surveys, and feedback.

2.2 Guest Checkout and Automatically Created Accounts

When you purchase tickets without logging in first (Guest Checkout), we collect the contact and payment information you enter and assign a temporary internal account identifier to your browser or device session.

After successful payment, we may:

(a) create a persistent Avenue Account using your checkout email and mark it verified through successful payment ("Purchase Verification");

(b) link your purchase to an existing Account matched by phone number or email; or

(c) retain the purchase on a temporary record if we cannot safely assign a deliverable email address.

Purchase Verification is not the same as OTP login. You can access tickets later by signing in with the same email or phone used at checkout, or through links in your confirmation email.

If you begin Guest Checkout but do not complete payment, we may delete or anonymize temporary data after approximately thirty (30) days, except where longer retention is required.

2.3 Payment Information

Payment card and bank details are processed by our payment partners (including Stripe). Avenue does not store full payment card numbers on our servers.

2.4 Information Collected Automatically

When you use the Services, we automatically collect device and browser information, IP address, session/cookie/device identifiers (including checkout fingerprint after terms acceptance), purchase funnel data, and security logs.

2.5 Information from Third Parties

We may receive information from payment processors, analytics/ad partners, Organizers, and social login providers (where available).

2.6 Embedded and Partner Experiences

Embedded checkout on partner sites may pass referral context to Avenue. The host site's privacy policy may also apply.

3. How We Use Information

We use personal information to provide and improve the Services, process purchases, create and link Accounts, prevent fraud, provide support, share data with Organizers for event fulfillment, send communications, conduct analytics, comply with law, and protect safety.

3.1 Legal Bases (EEA, UK, and Similar Jurisdictions)

Where applicable, we rely on contract, legitimate interests, consent, and legal obligation.

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell personal information for money.

4.1 Event Organizers

When you purchase tickets, we share information the Organizer needs to fulfill the event. Organizers are independent controllers of Attendee data they receive.

4.2 Service Providers

We use vendors for payment processing (Stripe), email/SMS, cloud hosting, analytics, advertising, and support. Contact privacy@avenueticket.com for our sub-processor list.

4.3 Authorized Support, Debugging, and Account Access

Authorized Avenue employees and contractors may access Account information. In limited circumstances, they may use impersonation sessions — viewing the Service as though signed in to a specific Account — for troubleshooting and support. This applies to:

(a) Consumer (customer) Accounts — ticket buyers and attendees. Platform support may impersonate a Consumer Account to help with checkout, ticket delivery, refunds, Guest Checkout recovery, login issues, and fraud investigations.

(b) Organizer Accounts — event hosts and their team members. Platform administrators may impersonate an Organizer team member's session to debug organizer tools, payouts, events, or team access issues.

Impersonation is used only to provide support, investigate fraud or disputes, debug technical issues, or comply with law.

Safeguards include role-based access, time-limited sessions (typically up to twenty (20) minutes for Consumer Account access), audit logging, and prohibitions on personal use of customer data. Avenue personnel do not receive your OTP or password.

Organizers and their staff cannot impersonate ticket buyers or other Consumers through Avenue's consumer Services.

4.4 Legal, Safety, and Business Transfers

We may disclose information when required by law or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

5. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies for sign-in, checkout sessions, preferences, analytics, and advertising where permitted. Partners may include Meta, Google, TikTok, and Snapchat.
